Hi, my name is Paws, and I'm a beautiful five year old GSD who was surrendered to FRGSR by my former owner, along with my sister Alia, when our owner had to move to care for his elderly relatives and dogs weren't allowed. Until now, living with him has been all we've known. I/we have not been socialized with other people or dogs. As a result, we've both been very guarded around the volunteers and kennel employees, but we are slowly gaining their trust. They've been taking things very slowly and not pushing either of us beyond our comfort level. I am house-trained, but I don't know much about basic obedience. I will need a patient adopter who will allow me to come out of my shell in my own time, which could take weeks. Once I warm up, I'm actually a loving, affectionate girl. I'll need to live in a home without people coming and going all the time.

My adoption fee is $350, but I'm also available for Foster to Adopt. PLEASE NOTE, MY SISTER AND I WILL NEED TO GO TO SEPARATE HOMES.
